Harry Potter Killer V.1

"Eh..."

date: April 7, 2009

It wasn't all that and a bag of Doritos, but hey, you gave it your best try.

I'm a Harry Potter fan, but that's not why I'm giving you a bad review. I just couldn't get into the game at all. I mean, it was fun for about 10 seconds to blast Harry out of the sky, but other than that, there was no real entertainment.

I liked the way you could choose between a Colt .45 and a Lasergun, but other than that, I'd leave the game making to the professionals. Sorry, better luck next time.

Manhunt Game

"Manhunt It's Not..."

submission: Manhunt Game
date: April 3, 2009

Okay, I'm an avid Manhunt gamer and I just want to let you know that this was NOTHING like Manhunt.

Okay, so you have one of the key elements from the Manhunt franchise: the goal of sneaking around and killing them from behind. You've got that aspect down packed. But what happened with the rest of the game?

I mean, I didn't get any shadows to hide in? Or how about making the hunters wear different masks instead of the same one? Maybe more gore and blood would have sufficed here also. And how about some painkillers to heal myself?

Oh yeah, the stick figures... What was up with the stick figures? I mean, a little more effort on your part would have made this game at least a little enjoyable. If you want my advice for the sequel, I suggest you play Igor Zlo's version of Manhunt called "Memento - Manhunt" because it might not be the best, but it was a TON better than this one. You can find it here on Newgrounds. Sorry, man, but your version didn't cut it.

Manhunt:the city ep.1

"Not Exactly What I Thought It Would Be..."

date: March 30, 2009

This didn't have anything at all to do with Manhunt, except for the fact you mentioned Starkweather and the Smiley gang.

Maybe if you studied Manhunt more, you'd be able to make a better flash for the sequel. Oh well, we'll see.

Manhunt: deleted scene

"Hmm..."

date: March 30, 2009

The background looked like something out of Manhunt and the sphere in the corner that shows Cash's location and the hunter's locations looked like Manhunt, however, the hunter and "Cash" looked nothing like something out of the game. Sorry.

For one thing, James Earl Cash didn't have hair, let alone silver hair. I know, I'm picky. And the hunter would've been better if you had made him one the hunters from one of the gangs in the game such as an Innocent, a Wardog, a Smiley or even a Hood.

I liked the little joke in the location sphere that had an arrow pointed to the hunter that said "pwned!" Awesome. And the sound... I won't get started on the sound, just please turn the volume up. I had to put headphones in my laptop and turn the volume all the way up to hear it and still it was barely audible.

Other than those complaints, this was kind of funny. Maybe if you followed my suggestions for the next one, I'll rate it higher.

Memento - Manhunt

"Manhunt In Flash Form"

submission: Memento - Manhunt
date: March 30, 2009

Granted, the girl in the story is no James Earl Cash, but she held her own brilliantly. I have been an avid Manhunt player since it's release and I can honestly say that this was a good remake of the original.

There were times when I was caught hiding in the shadows, which wasn't really nothing BIG to be complaining about, but that was one of the key elements of the Manhunt series, the ability to hide and sneak around. Granted, the shadows made for excellent cover if no one had spotted you, but if you were on the run from the hunters, going into the shadows, which is usually a safe haven, did nothing.

I loved how some of your levels and backgrounds were reminiscent of the ones in the real game. Especially the blacktop area where you learn to fight hand-to-hand. I thought it showed great potential as a flash game although it would've been better had it had the little cut scenes when you execute someone. You know the ones I'm referring to, right? When you lop someone's head off with a machete or send someone's brains splattering against a wall with an aluminum bat, there were always cut scenes which showed the grisly mayhem unfolding. They could be thrown in if there's ever a sequel.

I found the "classic" controls easier to use than the other ones. Just something I thought I'd mention, as if made it feel more like the original game. I also loved how you made the little sphere in the top right corner show what weapon she had and how your little silhouette in the bottom right hand corner were just like the ones in the game. Awesome.

I look forward to the sequel and would appreciate it if you let me know when you made one. Maybe you could include backgrounds from the mental asylum in the second Manhunt game?

South Park goes HP

"This Was Awesome!"

submission: South Park goes HP
date: March 27, 2009

Stan as Harry Potter and Cartman as Lord Voldemort? Excellent. I liked how you did the magic spells because you made it look like the spells were actually flashing colors across their faces.

I also liked how your South Park characters all acted and sounded like the real South Park guys. Some of the sound was out of place in some scenes, but other than that, everything was smooth.

Great job!

Merry Potter's merry day

"Very Well Done"

date: March 25, 2009

I do have some complaints, though.

This movie would've earned a "10" if all of the words at the bottom of the screen were spelled correctly. However, most of them weren't, so that deducted points. Other than that, though, this flash was off the chain!

Favorite Line: "Shut up, bitch, I am Voldemort!"

This was awesome, Just2Pale.

Blending the worlds of Twilight and Harry Potter was ingenious. Robert Pattinson did play Cedric Diggory and Edward, so that's what made it funny for me, how Lord Voldemort confused the two.

By the way, your Voldemort was awesome. :P

Harry Potter Parody Chap1

"Now THIS Was Hilarious..."

date: March 24, 2009

Seriously, guys. When's the next chapter coming out?

I loved this flash, it was genuinely awesome. The "bitch" table where Lucius Malfoy is sitting... That one part alone made me want to go back and watch it over.

You did a very good job of paraphrasing the first chapter of the last book and threw in all the important details along with some interesting (and gut-busting) jokes. You've earned yourself a new fan! Let us all know when the next one is coming out!

Saturday Morning Watchmen

"Awesome Take On The Watchmen Franchise"

date: March 24, 2009

I saw this movie in the March 23-29 issue of TV Guide magazine and had to come check it out.

It was very well put together. I loved all the vibrant colors and the way you made all the characters into cartoons. Rorschach was my favorite part, especially the scene with him juggling.

Anyway, keep up the great work!
